Install Your eSIM

Tap the Instant Installation button or scan the QR code to start the installation. We offer three methods to install your eSIM.

Troubleshooting

Check common activation FAQs and contact support if you use a KDDI product.

Make sure your device supports eSIM and is ready for installation. Dial *#06# to check whether an EID is shown.
Prepare a stable Wi-Fi connection before downloading the eSIM profile.
Keep your confirmation email or My Page open so you can access the installation details.

If your device is carrier locked or country locked, installation can fail even when the model supports eSIM.

Before installation, confirm that your device is SIM-free and not locked to a carrier.

iPhone / iPad

Open Settings > General > About and check Carrier Lock. It should display 'No SIM restrictions'.

Android

Check the SIM manager or mobile network menu, or confirm with your carrier that the device is unlocked.

A carrier-locked device may support eSIM hardware but still fail to install or connect.
